Improvising Over . . .
The "Improvising Over . . ." series of lessons is an ongoing collection of lessons on how to improvise over the chord changes to important tunes in the jazz repertoire. Each lesson in the series describes in detail how to improvise using chord tones, guide tones, arpeggios, chordscale passages and approach patterns and other improvisational techniques. A quiz at the end of each lesson and the downloadable Practice Sessions will get you started improvising at the piano.
