Solo Jazz Piano Part 5
Part 5 of this series on solo jazz piano extends the three primary voicing techniques, spread voicings, rootless voicings with added tension and shell voicings to their use in accompanying improvised right hand lines while playing solo piano. A solo improvisation over the chord changes to Stella By Starlight is analyzed for the use of these three techniques.
