 Peace Lesson Details

Peace
Peace, one of Horace Silver's lesser-known compositions is a beautiful and complex ballad of only 10 bars.
Watch as the chord changes to the tune are voiced with a variety of techniques: rootless voicings with added tension, open voicings, upper structures, voicings in fourths and a melody is improvised over the top. The result can be played as a stand-alone miniature or used as an extended introduction to the head of the tune.
