Two Arrangements of O Little Town of Bethlehem
Get into the spirit of the holidays by playing these two arrangements of this beloved carol. Start with the solo piano chorale-like setting which tranforms this old chestnut into a modern jazz ballad. Then invite a bass player over (or use the included play-along) for the uptempo version and improvise over the reharmonized changes. Both arrangements use substitute dominant chords, upper structure triads, close voicings, spread voicings and other techniques to update this holiday classic tune.
