Chromatic Tendency Tones
If you have had success with the diatonc tendency tone exercises watch this lesson to learn to hear the remaining 5 pitches of the chromatic scale. Each note has a tendency to want to resolve within a given harmonic context. This lesson will teach you to recognize these tendencies and to use them to identify each pitch by name.
Lesson Objectives
To describe the tendency inherent in each pitch to resolve to the tonic or some other diatonic note and to use that tendency to "hear" and identify each note by name.
