Chromatic Intervals Ear Training
These five chromatic intervals: the minor 2nd, minor 3rd, augmented 4th, minor 6th and minor 7th are the trickiest to hear- especially the augmented 4th (aka the tritone or diminished 5th). Watch this lesson to learn how to hear these intervals in ascending, descending and harmonic forms by associating them with the first few notes of popular songs then test yourself with the randomized quiz to gain speed and accuracy in hearing these intervals. Use the final quiz at the end of the lesson to test yourself on all twelve intervals: the eight diatonic intervals and the five chromatic intervals.
